Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Accounting Analyst to drive business performance by supporting capital budgeting, analyzing profitability, and providing data-driven insights across manufacturing, operations, and finance.

You will collaborate with multiple teams on projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, with an emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of financial experience (preferred, but not required).
• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong analytical, reasoning and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle the day-to-day operations of the capital budget cycle, publishing monthly updates and forecasts.
• Assist project managers with cost tracking and project number management.
• Support ROI/cost-benefit analysis for operations, engineering, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with cost and profitability measures and risk assessment.
• Provide information requests for OEE, DMBs, and Scrap Costing data.
• Prepare monthly cost statements for manufacturing and distribution centers.
• Prepare weekly production metrics and supply chain/inventory controls metrics.
• Participate in supply chain and inventory control improvement projects.
• Assist cyclical audits of functions and processes.
• Contribute to R&D tax credit optimization and tax/audit document support.
• Support other finance and cost accounting projects as instructed.
