Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking an Analyst Accounting for an onsite role in Cleveland, TN. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage daily finance operations, ensure SOX controls, and contribute to forecasting and cost management.

The role emphasizes process efficiency, analytical insights, and collaboration with manufacturing and finance partners to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 2+ years of finance or accounting experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day finance operations and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to SOX controls and manufacturing standards.
• Provide forecasting and planning support (Profit Plan, monthly outlook).
• Learn month-end journal entries and assist as backup to finance team.
• Drive process efficiency and data quality improvements.
• Deliver analytical insights to influence business partners and decisions.
• Support World Class Manufacturing via CD Pillar Methodology and cost deployment training.
