Domtar is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to support the financial and operational performance of our paper manufacturing facility in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking with data-driven recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data sets and modeling.
• Ability to communicate financial information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and analyzing financial and operational reports to monitor mill performance.
• Identify trends, variances, and key business drivers from data.
• Support month-end reporting and ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support decisions and performance initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, supply chain, and leadership teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimize financials.
• Gain exposure to manufacturing performance metrics, cost drivers, and processes.
• Translate data into actionable insights for operations teams.
• Assist in annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Participate in evaluating capital projects and improvement initiatives.
• Support cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Contribute ideas to improve reporting, processes, and data quality.
