Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking a Financial Analyst to partner with manufacturing operations, driving cost optimization and performance reporting. The role focuses on standard costing, BOM reviews, and close processes, delivering insights to improve efficiency and profitability.

The candidate will analyze variances, productivity, and overheads, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to Lean initiatives and capital investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of financial analysis, cost accounting, or operations finance.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing data (BOMs, routings, inventory) preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to partner with Operations.
• Ability to work on-site at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing operations to analyze performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support standard costing, BOM reviews, and overhead rate calculations.
• Analyze variances, yields, and productivity to provide actionable recommendations.
• Assist month-end close, including journal entries and inventory integrity.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting with variance analysis.
• Provide financial analysis for Lean projects and capital investments.
