Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Cost Accountant/Analyst to support the plant's financial performance and operational decision-making in our Ohio manufacturing facility.

The role partners with the Plant Manager and operations to analyze costs, manage inventory, and provide insight for business decisions. A path for growth is available for both developing and experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory, BOMs, and cost structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.
• ERP experience required; SAP is a plus.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost accounting and manufacturing financial analysis, including cost, productivity, labor, overhead, and variance analysis.
• Support BOM, standard costing, inventory management, and cycle count activities.
• Partner with the Plant Manager and operations team to identify cost savings and productivity improvement opportunities.
• Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Utilize ERP systems and financial data to support reporting and analysis.
• Support the transition from JDE to SAP and help ensure accurate financial and operational data.
