Emerge is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst in LaPorte, IN to support the Plant Controller with daily accounting operations, month-end close, and timely financial reporting. This role contributes to financial planning, forecasts, and analysis of operational performance, focusing on expense management, inventory monitoring, standard cost maintenance, and budget oversight.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related experience, or 3 years in business process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least one year of relevant experience, or three years in business process modeling, database design, or financial analysis.

• Role involves access to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report manufacturing inventory costs.
• Manage payroll and fringe benefit expenses, as well as labor standards.
• Administer the facility's fixed assets and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements.
• Conduct operational research through process mapping and cross-functional interviews.
• Develop actionable business recommendations from complex data.
• Create internal tools (spreadsheets/databases) to drive productivity.
• Lead training for new applications and refined processes.
