Job summary

LyondellBasell, a leader in the global chemical industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst for the La Porte Plant to drive accounting processes, cost analysis, and financial controls. You will partner with the La Porte Plant Management Team to deliver accurate month-end close, cost reviews, and site forecasts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with SAP and BW proficiency.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, finance or other related business degree is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial or manufacturing accounting.
ERP and data retrieval / analysis experience preferably with SAP and Business Warehouse.
Highly self-sufficient and able to provide quality analytics to enable decision making and mentorship.

Responsibilities

Handle accounting-related activities for La Porte Plant Manufacturing I&D units, including month-end close and cost analysis.
Provide historical and forward-looking trend analysis and support site forecasting and budgets.
Coordinate internal controls, SOX compliance, audits, and cost classifications for site projects.
