The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with SAP and BW proficiency.

The Manufacturing Analyst will play a crucial role in the manufacturing decision-making process, specifically in relation to accounting, finance, controls, and the business environment. The individual will partner directly with the La Porte Plant Management Team under the direction of theManufacturing Controlling Sr Manager for the La Porte Complex. While primary duties will center around the La Porte Plant Manufacturing units, the role will also provide accounting support for various site support organizations within theLa Porte Plant. This location is at 10885 Strang Rd, La Porte, Texas 77511.
Encompasses all things accounting-related for the La Porte Plant Manufacturing I&D units, including accounting and month-end close activities, cost and profitability analysis, manufacturing and corporate reporting, and internal control coordination, as well as additional core and ad-hoc functions for various site support organizations.
Providing key information on historical and forward-looking trends and related cost analysis at the micro and macro level.
Among other tasks, this business partner will guide the following processes: annual budget, site forecasting, LRP functions, monthly cost reviews, benchmark data collection and analysis, internal controls and compliance with SOx, classification of costs, contract review, physical inventory and PPE inventory observations, various audit functions including audit support for turnarounds and other major site projects, as well as other financial support for the manufacturing site.
