MyLand is a soil health company. This Manufacturing & Field Engineer role owns the reliability of MyLand's proprietary systems end to end: troubleshoot on-site, then return to headquarters to design and implement durable engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, agricultural, or related engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, including field troubleshooting and manufacturing/product design.
• Ability to diagnose problems on-site and translate into long-term solutions.
• Familiar with mechanical/electrical/controls or fluid/irrigation systems; CAD experience preferred.
• Able to work in high heat and travel up to 25%.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to technical expert on MyLand's system hardware.
• Travel to field sites up to 25% to diagnose issues.
• Translate field findings into permanent engineering fixes.
• Support manufacturing by improving build quality and reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering solutions with goals.
• Partner with procurement and vendors on parts sourcing and design.
• Support new product/system rollouts and field pilots.
• Track recurring field issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Serve as point of contact for assigned engineering projects and drive completion.
