Job description

Position Overview

In this role, you will assist the Lead Mechanical Engineers in the design, engineering, procurement, and product life cycle management of large-scale custom manufactured industrial equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute strategy to enroll 10,000 acres in year one, scaling to 30,000+ annually.
  • Prioritize the right acres in the right geographies, optimizing for environmental impact, market value, and long-term durability.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of the $80M AMP program across 16 subawardees and multiple internal workstreams.
  • Drive accountability for deliverables, timelines, and outcomes across all.
  • Lead commercialization strategy for nutrient products, including solid digestate and liquid NPK formulations.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, with initial focus on specialty crops.
  • Breakdown pre-assembled units and modular structures per shipping schedule and instructions.
  • Build skids and/or containers as required for protection and safe transport to the final destination.
  • Pack disassembled components for shipment per instructions.
  • Check-in, match, count, and stock all incoming material.
  • Unload and receive materials in accordance with the receiving standard operating procedure.
  • Report any discrepancies to the Receiving Specialist and assist appropriately.
  • Pack, seal, and return materials in a timely manner.
  • Interpret data from electrical diagrams and schematics and complete wiring of electrical systems.
  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
  • Provide process support for new projects, including:
    • Develop process simulations and new models for complex projects.
    • Develop material and energy balances for complex projects.
    • Lead development of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).

  • Maintain process equipment, including but not limited to blowers, flares, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Perform testing and analysis on lagoons.
