Role Description

The Manufacturing Facility Foreman is a full-time, on-site role located in Lakeland, FL. This role oversees daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that crane and hoist assemblies, fabrication, and related manufacturing activities are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. The foreman coordinates work assignments, supervises production staff, monitors equipment usage, and ensures compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations. Responsibilities include organizing materials and workflow, resolving production issues, conducting inspections and quality checks, and maintaining clear communication with management, engineering, and project teams. The role also involves training team members, maintaining a clean and efficient work environment, and contributing to process improvements to support productivity and product quality.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including team coordination, performance oversight, and staff training.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, ideally within material handling, cranes, hoists, or heavy equipment.
  • Solid understanding of safety practices, OSHA standards, and risk mitigation in a production facility.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
  • Proficiency in organizing workflow, scheduling, and basic production planning.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with production crews, management, and other departments.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and use of manufacturing or inventory systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing fields is preferred.
  • Physical ability to work on the shop floor, including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and operating tools or equipment safely.
  • Prior experience as a foreman, lead, or supervisor in a manufacturing or fabrication setting is strongly preferred.
