Job summary

The GMP Group in Pioneer, Ohio is seeking a Facilities Technician for a full-time, shift-based role in a manufacturing environment. You will support the reliability of production equipment and facilities through hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting.

You will perform preventive/predictive maintenance, assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment, coordinate with vendors, maintain spare parts and maintenance records, and contribute to continuous improvement to boost equipment

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in equipment maintenance / troubleshooting.
• Hands-on knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems, wiring and soldering.
• Able to read and understand electrical diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and facility issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform Preventive / Predictive Maintenance, TPM and Autonomous Maintenance activities.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, repairs and maintenance works.
• Maintain spare parts, maintenance records and troubleshooting guides.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
