SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Facilities Manager for a large, automated personal care products campus in Bedford Park, IL. This on-site leadership role owns facility systems, infrastructure, and compliance, guiding engineering and maintenance teams to keep production running smoothly.

You will oversee HVAC, boilers, electrical distribution, contractor coordination, budgets, schedules, and safety programs, with a track record in manufacturing environments and stationary engineer credentials

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of maintenance certifications and 5+ years of facilities management leadership in a manufacturing setting
• 7+ years of plant or facilities management experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Must come from manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with facility systems including HVAC, boilers, and electrical distribution
• Proven track record managing contractors across multiple trades simultaneously
• Strong project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination
• Stationary Engineer license preferred
• Strong communicator who can work across departments and with diverse teams

Responsabilités

• Oversee all facility functions including HVAC, boilers, stationary engineering, building maintenance, and related systems
• Manage on-site contractors across multiple trades including electrical and civil work, ensuring all projects meet facility standards, timelines, and safety requirements
• Manage on-site wastewater treatment systems and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
• Develop and oversee capital project budgets, scopes, and schedules for infrastructure upgrades and facility improvements
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes, OSHA requirements, and safety standards throughout the facility
• Identify facility improvement opportunities and lead implementation from concept through completion
