Job summary

System One is seeking a mechanically inclined Manufacturing Fabrication Operator in Currie, NC to set up and run press brakes and CNC equipment. Training is provided; prior press brake experience is preferred but not required.

You will read blueprints, work with tape measures, and follow precise production instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards. This on-site role requires physical capability and teamwork to meet daily goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC hydraulic press brakes.

• Move materials and finished products to and from workstations.
• Follow production instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:30 am - 4:30 pm (40 hours), overtime is sometimes necessary and mandatory.

Overview

System One is seeking mechanically inclined manufacturing professionals to join our fabrication team in Wilmington, NC.
Press Brake experience is preferred but NOT required. We will train the right candidate!
If you have experience in CNC machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal, assembly, machine operation, or other hands-on manufacturing, we want to hear from you.
Candidates should have good mechanical aptitude, be comfortable working with measurements and basic blueprints, and be willing to learn fabrication equipment.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must wear steel-toe boots
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be available to work the required shift and hours
• Must successfully complete required pre-employment physical/drug screen, background check, and E-Verify

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year Press Brake setup/operation experience, particularly 175- or 250-ton equipment
• 1+ year warehouse, fabrication, manufacturing, or shop experience
