Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation's Target Rock team in East Farmingdale, NY is seeking an Expeditor to monitor and move materials and finished goods through the manufacturing facility. You will ensure timely flow, verify traveler and shop paperwork, and coordinate with work centers.

This on-site position offers the opportunity to contribute to ERP and production control processes while supporting shop operations. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy.
• Willingness to learn and work extra hours to support manufacturing.
• Experience with warehouse control or floor production control.
• Forklift / crane experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain a raw material staging area for visibility to shop management.
• Review paperwork and ensure traveler and shop packet are complete.
• Count parts to match traveler quantities and document discrepancies.
• Enter Oracle ERP system to move jobs to next machine center or staging area.
• Move jobs between centers and coordinate with work center supervisors.
• Maintain ERP reports and assist Project Control with priorities.
