Job summary

Trystar is seeking a Manufacturing ERP/MES Project Leader to drive ERP/MES implementations across its manufacturing footprint, focusing on Epicor modules and Silver/Gold programs. The role requires coordinating with IT and Operations to optimize shop-floor processes and deliver high-quality solutions on time.

The ideal candidate has extensive ERP/IT experience, strong analytical and facilitation skills, and a record of leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or Engineering.
• 10+ years of Operations leadership across multiple functional areas.
• Strong ERP & IT experience with ERP implementations without major modifications.
• Item Master Expertise and ability to drive change across functions.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies (KT, is/is-not, fishbone, 5 whys).
• Production Supervisor experience in complex manufacturing lines (>5 years).
• Ability to facilitate workshops and meetings for ideas and improvements.
• Experience supporting resources across multiple plant locations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and manage resistance to change.
• Track record of sustaining change from shop floor to leadership.
• Ability to communicate project value to stakeholders.
• Ability to use data to influence decisions.
• Ability to create process maps and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead MES system change initiatives across Manufacturing within Trystar’s Epicor Silver/Gold programs.
• Build and advance ERP systems to improve customer service and margins.
• Identify how Epicor MES serves as the key process for transactions or integrate with Epicor Silver/Gold solutions.
• Lead cross-functional workshops to drive ERP and IT system improvements on shop floors.
• Collaborate with Operations to meet needs across locations.
• Partner with IT to leverage AI in Manufacturing while implementing MES systems.
• Benchmark MES industry standards and best practices and apply them to Trystar.
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, Engineering, Finance, HR for cross-functional improvements.
• Serve as SME and primary owner for the Epicor platform in Manufacturing.
• Lead design, configuration, and deployment of Epicor modules across manufacturing.
• Represent the VP of Manufacturing in ERP/Systems meetings and investment discussions.
• Develop training materials and SOPs for change management.
• Report to Operations Steering committee with COO and leaders.
• Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to automate or streamline using Epicor.
