Job summary

Intel Corporation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Module Equipment Technician to maintain and optimize semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot electromechanical systems, perform calibration and preventive maintenance, and document activities while following cleanroom protocols.

We expect 2+ years of related equipment maintenance experience or-equivalent military tech training, with ability to read schematics and work with metrology tools. On-site role with shift 5 schedule.

Qualifications

  • Experience in troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of electromechanical equipment.
  • Familiarity with wet chemistry, plating and high-vacuum tooling environments is a plus.
  • Ability to read complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Conduct setup, calibration, corrective and preventive maintenance on critical manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor tool performance and document maintenance activities and parts usage.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Job Details:Job Description:As a Module Equipment Technician, you will be directly involved in maintaining and optimizing advanced manufacturing equipment critical to semiconductor production. Your role will encompass hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and calibration of electromechanical systems, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant previous job, and/or internship experiences. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorshipMinimum QualificationsCandidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:BS STEM related to Semi. Mfg (MET)/ BS STEM (operator)Associate degree STEM Related to semi.
