Intel Corporation in the United States (Phoenix, AZ) is seeking a Module Equipment Technician to support wafer production, equipment maintenance, and process optimization. You will work across Fab52/Fab42/32/12 with a compressed 3x12-hour shift pattern and frequent interactions with engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve line performance.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, with hands-on maintenance experience in semiconductor environments.

Qualifications

  • HS/GED or higher plus 1+ year technical certification or related trade school
  • HS/GED or higher plus 2+ years hands-on experience or military technical experience
  • Associate degree STEM/MET or related field (operator)

Responsibilities

  • Perform wafer production operations including equipment, process and training
  • Maintain and repair equipment; troubleshoot to reduce defects
  • Follow technical manuals, drawings, schematics and instructions precisely
  • Work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE and safety protocols

Job Details:Job Description:The Role and ImpactAs a Module Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in Intel's high-tech manufacturing process, ensuring our tools are optimized for world-class production. This role has opportunities across all shifts (4/5/6/7) as needed per functional area.The Module Equipment Technician will be responsible for but not limited to:Perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training.Equipment maintenance and repair, equipment troubleshooting, defect reduction, and other duties as required supporting Fab objectives.Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem solving techniques and communication.This position is for a Compressed Work Week Schedule with availability on all shifts in Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab52/42/32/12).The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:Self-motivatedVerbal and written communication skills and to be comfortable presenting issues and solutions.Skills to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask.Skills to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.Skills to produce results in a timely manner.Analytical problem solving and testing skills.Candidates must be willing and able to:Work a compressed work week consisting of three consecutive 12-hour shifts, followed by a four day work week every other week.Shift 4 - Night front half of week - PM-AM Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nightsShift 5 - Days front half of week - AM-PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday daysShift 6 - Night back half of week - PM-AM Wed-Sat and alternating Saturday nightShift 7 - Days back half of week - AM-PM Thurs-Sat and alternating Wednesday daysMust be willing to perform work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE, including coveralls, hood, booties, safety glasses, gloves, and respirator (when required). Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) 4 times a day. Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.This position is not open to an Intel immigration sponsorship.Minimum Qualifications:The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 1+ year technical certification or related (1) trade schoolHS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 2+ years related (1) hands on experience OR military technical experienceHS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 1+ in related (1) equip maintenance experienceAssociate degree STEM Related to semi. Mfg.
