Job summary

First Solar is seeking an EMT-level technician to support the installation, qualification and upkeep of manufacturing equipment at our Perrysburg Township facility in Ohio. You will troubleshoot day-to-day issues on the production line and contribute to yield and product performance improvements.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with options for technical associates and related experience, including hands-on repair skills, safety focus, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one of: associate degree or 2+ years machine experience or 1 year First Solar experience.
• Six months EMT experience at First Solar with rating 5+ in EMT categories.
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Solves day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
• Performs on-site service and repair of equipment.
• Identifies and implements yield and product performance improvements.
• Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.
• Develops methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
• Develops and updates internal documentation and SOPs.
