Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or System Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Experience with lean manufacturing, automation, and process improvement
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data for root causes
• Ability to mentor and train junior engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead preventative maintenance of process equipment and vacuum chambers
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and system-level failures on the floor
• Develop procedures for preventive and corrective maintenance
• Determine root causes and corrective actions; perform FMEA reports as needed
• Recommend tooling and fixtures to improve process efficiency and quality
• Lead DFx initiatives to estimate and reduce costs and improve product quality
• Develop and maintain methods, sequences, and processes for fabrication of parts and assemblies
• Coordinate release of product improvements and new products with other functions
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements
• Mentor and train junior engineers
