Job summary

Tecknomic LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer for its Paint Equipment Planning Group in Georgetown, KY. In this 100% onsite role, you will evaluate and plan automation robots and expansion projects, develop equipment specifications, and lead standardization efforts across North American plants.

You will become an expert in paint-shop technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure safety standards (CoHE/LOTO) are maintained.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience (nice to have)
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience
• 2+ years of project management
• Experience evaluating and planning equipment and automation robots (process and layout design) and developing equipment specifications
• CAD or similar modeling software; specification development and equipment-procurement documentation
• Ability to identify project constraints and develop effective countermeasures; Microsoft Office proficiency
• Able to work onsite in Georgetown, KY (local), travel about 30% (domestic) and overtime ~15%; steel-toed shoes on shop floor

A leading automotive manufacturer is hiring a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer for its Paint Equipment Planning Group in Georgetown, KY (100% onsite, local): evaluating and planning automation robots and expansion projects (process/layout design, equipment specification, standardization, lead-time reduction), paint-shop technologies, standards and specifications, and on-site inspections. About 80% office, 20% shop floor.
