K Georgetown, KY is seeking an experienced Paint Seibi Technician to support automated robotic paint processes within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on robot programming, paint-process setup, equipment trials, process optimization, troubleshooting, and quality evaluation on the manufacturing floor, with up to 50% travel.

Formación

• Associate/Technical degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of technical manufacturing/automation experience.
• Experience with industrial robotic systems.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Perform online robot programming for automated paint applications.
• Program and optimize robotic processes for primer, base coat, and clear coat.
• Support sealer, UBC, and dampening applications.
• Conduct equipment and process trials and adjust operating parameters.
• Troubleshoot robotic paint processes and production equipment.
• Perform offline robot programming using simulation software.
• Conduct robot reach studies and cycle-time analysis.
• Evaluate paint quality against engineering drawings and standards.
• Use quality measurement equipment such as Elcometer, Wave-Scan, and X-Rite.
• Develop process handover documentation for manufacturing teams.
