Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Development Engineer to drive deployment, commissioning, and operation of industrial hardware for a 24/7 consumer tech production environment. You will own equipment selection, unboxing, and facility integration with strict installation qualification and SOP creation.

This role requires hands-on experience with multiple industrial systems, strong project management, and collaboration with Facilities, EHS, Quality, and Process Engineering.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive engineering experience in equipment deployment or factory automation.
• Experience executing formal equipment qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Hands-on familiarity with major industrial equipment categories.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment, site integration, and qualification of manufacturing equipment (IQ/OQ/SAT).
• Lead equipment selection and implementation to meet throughput requirements.
• Interface with external equipment manufacturers on delivery timelines and installation needs.
• Define and monitor equipment performance metrics to maximize uptime and MTBF/MTTR.
