Location: Columbia, MD (7001 Columbia Gateway Dr, Suite 500, Columbia, MD 21046, USA)

Pay Range: $80,000 USD to $95,000 USD. Supplemental bonus may be available.

Description

The Manufacturing Equipment & Process Engineer is responsible for the strategic implementation of equipment and systems to enable large‑scale manufacturing of Data Center Solutions products for hyperscale customers. The role involves ensuring safe, high‑quality, efficient, and customer‑focused production, streamlining processes, and supporting new site start‑ups.

Responsibilities
  • Active implementation of equipment to manufacture datacenter products at scale in a safe, high‑quality, efficient, and customer‑focused manner.
  • Active implementation of processes to manufacture datacenter products at scale in a safe, high‑quality, efficient, and customer‑focused manner.
  • Serve as the POC for the development of manufacturing systems and processes that can be executed in any facility and accelerate the start‑up of new facilities.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team and hyperscale customers to improve offerings and provide additional value to drive innovation.
  • Participate in the development of operations functions using a data‑based approach, providing engineered systems for large‑scale production in a safe and high‑quality manner.
  • Participate in aggressive systems development to minimize manufacturing overheads and ensure a best‑in‑class cost base.
  • Help the Advanced Manufacturing Team drive step‑change and continuous improvement programs to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Maintain awareness of quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and report issues to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, business administration, or a 4‑year technical degree in a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a process‑oriented operation or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and confidentiality skills.
