Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to provide hands-on production support for packaging operations, ensure equipment reliability, improve process efficiency, and minimize downtime on the shop floor.

The role acts as a liaison between Operations, Engineering and Maintenance by rapidly identifying issues, escalating concerns, and implementing effective solutions to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the medical device or biopharmaceutical industry preferred but not required.
• Previous preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze process/equipment metrics to improve the process/equipment.
• Investigate and correct problems involving the manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Provide production floor support/troubleshooting.
• Ensure spare parts are on hand and material of contact documented.
• Perform/coordinate preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Work with equipment vendors to procure/maintain/troubleshoot equipment.
