Aretè & Cocchi Technology in Findlay, OH, is seeking a hands-on engineer to drive continuous improvement through set-up, start-up, and monitoring of manufacturing processes. You will support production with electrical/PLC knowledge and maintain process quality, uptime, and productivity.
You will troubleshoot issues, train staff, and lead CI initiatives while aligning with safety and cost KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for this role include:
- Set-up, start-up, maintaining & monitoring of new and current manufacturing processes to ensure optimum product quality, productivity and uptime.
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Provide technical training and support to production and maintenance personnel to ensure competence in the operation and maintaining of the equipment.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements individually and/or by leading or participating on continuous improvement teams.
- Participate in the creation and improvement of process work instructions.
- Meet key performance metrics for safety, quality, cost and delivery
Experience/Technical skills required include:
- AS degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or minimum three years of demonstrated “hands on” Maintenance or Technical role.
- Background in any of the following areas are strongly preferred:
- Die cutting and setting
- Urethane molding processes
- Basic machining
- Robotics
- Plastic joining technologies (ultrasonic, vibration, laser and/or hot plate)
- Electrical power supply systems
- Electrical controls and PLC trouble-shooting, programming, and repair
- Familiar with Quality tools (PFMEA, Control plans, APQP)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2015 and/or IATF16949:2016.
