Vertiv Corporation seeks a Mechanical Engineering Technician to support manufacturing operations across the Anderson facility, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. You will work with Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and Design/Manufacturing Engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements and develop SOPs, standard work, and process control systems.

Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, maintenance or related field.
• Ability to learn manufacturing engineering concepts, processes and tools.
• Ability to read and write technical documentation including SOPs and process docs.
• Basic CAD experience or ability to learn engineering drawings and models.

Aufgaben

• Partner with Safety, Health, Operations and Engineering teams to support production with tooling and engineering changes.
• Assist with implementing and sustaining manufacturing processes.
• Support design and manufacturing engineering teams with DFM and production readiness.
• Assist with equipment specs, tool improvements and projects.
• Support CAR documentation and related activities.
• Modify CAD drawings and provide technical support under engineering guidance.
• Analyze manufacturing and quality issues and participate in root cause analysis.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
