Job summary

Diamond Foundry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to bridge Engineering and Production. You will own SOPs, travelers, and process specs, and lead a small engineering technician team on the Fremont floor, ensuring training, tool validation, and steady-state production.

The role emphasizes data-driven yield tracking, continuous improvement, and strict documentation discipline in a high-growth environment. Strong communication with senior leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, or related) with 3+ years of manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of training and 6+ years of experience.
• Leadership experience supervising technicians or a small team in a high-growth environment.
• Experience with yield analysis, defect Pareto, root cause methodologies, and basic SPC.
• Experience authoring/managing SOPs, work instructions, and travelers under controlled documentation, with ISO 9001 awareness.
• Ability to communicate clearly, present yield performance to senior management, and resolve technical disagreements.

Responsibilities

• Process Ownership & Engineering Handoff: qualify new/ revised processes and accept into steady-state production.
• Team Leadership & Development: supervise, schedule, and develop a team of engineering technicians.
• Yield Tracking & Data Ownership: own yield, scrap reporting, track excursions, drive corrective actions.
