Shr LLC's client in Bozeman, MT is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement. The role emphasizes leadership, project management, and delivering high-quality production results in a fast-growing environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, 8+ years in manufacturing with 5 years in a leadership role, plus experience with CapEx and CAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
IE or MFGE certification is a plus.
8+ years of manufacturing experience.
5 years in a leadership role, preferably in consumer goods manufacturing.
Experience with continuous improvement processes and CapEx.
Familiarity with CAD.

Responsibilities

Facilitate, lead, manage, and mentor various teams within the organization.
Drive idea creation for process improvement for production and for the facility.
Identify root causes of issues negatively impacting production objectives.
Lead and coordinate a variety of identified and approved initiatives and projects designed to improve processes and performance.
Act as the Subject-Matter Expert (SME) to leadership for issues with facility, machines, and systems.
Create timelines and priority structure for in-progress projects that improve the facility and the production processes.
Oversee and lead factory-wide projects.
Collaborate with product development to manage additional engineering and production work.
Collaborate with the Controller to create and manage the capex.
Ensure establishment and discipline of effective manufacturing standard work is carried out.
