Contract Professionals, Inc. seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead precision injection molding, stamping, and tooling operations in Northeast Ohio.

This onsite role manages tool room operations and engineering teams, driving process optimization and high-quality output. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in injection molding, tooling, and Six Sigma, with leadership experience and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of injection molding experience, preferably with connectors or precision components.
• Experience managing a tool room and leading toolmaking personnel.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, molding tools, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the in-house tool room and toolmaking team.
• Provide technical leadership to molding and stamping engineers.
• Oversee tooling procurement, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair operations.
• Support precision molding operations using Arburg and Milacron equipment.
• Oversee tooling and processes for high-speed stamping equipment.
• Maintain tight tolerances down to ±0.0005 inches.
• Identify and implement improvements in molding, automation, and reprocessing to reduce waste.
• Manage sourcing of tooling and equipment to meet cost, performance, and lead-time requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex molding and tooling issues to support production quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality for manufacturability improvements.
• Mentor technical personnel and support team development.
