Job summary

DENSO is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Production Engineering department to oversee daily department staff and direction of output. The role emphasizes leadership, resource management, and cross‑functional collaboration to sustain high productivity and quality.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work to meet KPIs, mentoring staff, and coordinating with other departments to remove obstacles. You will guide process improvements, support new product introductions, and drive kaizen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related technical field.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Electronics experience preferred.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign resources and set priority to meet company KPI's.
• Mentor and train associates to further develop talent.
• Coordinate with other departments to clear obstacles and achieve goals.
• Manage engineering associates performing production engineering tasks, including troubleshooting production processes to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Develop, design, test, and implement line modifications and arrangements to improve production processes and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical support to production to solve quality, productivity, and safety issues.
• Investigate and create specifications for kaizen ideas to improve line MOR and productivity.
• Coordinate and collaborate in the production of new products and engineering changes to prevent mass-production issues.
• Prepare assembly programs and review drawings for parts as needed.
• Coordinate product prototypes revisions and builds to resolve pre-mass production problems.
• Lead projects emphasizing process improvement, productivity, and scrap reduction.

Education
