Job summary

Ruger Firearms is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering function, driving safe, stable, and continuous improvement of production operations. You will mentor engineers, optimize processes, tooling, and automation while coordinating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Supply Chain to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Manufacturing Engineers; set departmental goals aligned with plant strategy.
• Oversee design, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Drive lean initiatives, waste reduction, and KPI tracking across manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and Plant Leadership to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure documentation, standards, and procedures are up to date.
