Job summary

Aisin Texas Corporation, located in Cibolo, TX, is seeking an Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and develop the Engineering team in support of safe, efficient, and high-quality automotive manufacturing operations.

The role oversees design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions to improve processes, equipment, product quality, productivity, and performance, including capital budgeting and kaizen initiatives.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of manufacturing experience required.
• At least three years in a manufacturing leadership role in a large organization.
• Knowledge of automotive or industrial manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Total Quality Management systems and best practices.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop engineering professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and budgets.
• Experience evaluating capital equipment investments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the Engineering team to support manufacturing objectives and drive excellence.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies and processes to improve performance.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and guidance for development.
• Create and manage project plans, schedules, and budget profiles to meet targets.
• Manage departmental budgets and allocate engineering resources effectively.
• Justify and select capital equipment investments based on business needs.
• Provide technical input for new business opportunities and product launches.
• Ensure accurate production engineering data and documentation.
• Identify improvements to equipment, processes, and training.
