Job summary

Auria is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Sidney Plant in Sidney, Ohio. The role is hands-on, overseeing engineering activities and driving production process development for both new and existing business.

Responsibilities include budgeting, safety leadership, design reviews, and cross-functional coordination with customers and corporate engineering to ensure successful launches and continuous improvement across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; five+ years supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for development of production processes and systems for new and existing business.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures within the department.
• Manage capital equipment and tooling budgets for new programs or processes; track expenditures by line item.
• Support maintenance and operation of plant equipment and facilities; review and approve engineering changes.
• Lead and develop an engineering team; work cross-functionally with customers and corporate engineering for launch support.
• Drive continuous improvement in current processes and implementation of new technologies.
• Provide cost and timing estimates for tooling, equipment, and packaging changes.
