Job summary

Trion Indoor Air Quality, a business segment of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (ADTI), is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the engineering operations at our Sanford, North Carolina facility.

This Tier II facility produces innovative indoor air quality solutions, including air cleaners, filtration products, humidification systems, and related IAQ technologies that improve the health, comfort, and efficiency of residential and commercial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with leadership.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
• Experience with capital equipment and validation.
• CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-level Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Design, optimize, and standardize manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Lead facility layout improvements and material flow initiatives.
• Manage capital equipment projects from justification to startup.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime with maintenance.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering on NPI, DFM, capacity planning.
• Support automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Use KPIs to drive data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
