Job summary

Danfoss Turbocor in Tallahassee, Florida, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team and shape safer, more efficient production systems. You will guide process design, equipment launches, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple disciplines.

You will drive digital manufacturing, data analytics, and lean practices to reduce waste and improve safety, quality, and cost performance in a multi-shift facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and lean methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team with clear priorities and goals.
• Design and improve manufacturing processes across assembly, machining, and testing.
• Deliver new equipment, automation, and product launches coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strengthen process safety and quality with risk assessments and control plans.
• Advance digital and lean manufacturing using MES, PLCs, data analytics, and Kaizen.
