Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field; strong experience may substitute.
Minimum five years in manufacturing engineering management with metals experience.
Proven track record in continuous improvement and KPI driving.
Experience supervising direct reports and project management.
Experience with product launches and reading blueprints.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
Lead continuous improvement programs and KPI tracking.
Own engineering activities for new product launches.
Resolve floor-level engineering issues on the shop floor.
Collaborate with other departments, suppliers, and contractors.
Standardize processes and develop detailed engineering plans.
Monitor labor utilization and manage capital projects.
Apply Lean methods to keep high-volume projects on schedule.
Direct capital equipment projects, including ROI assessment and vendor management.
Collaborate with design engineers on fixtures and tooling.
