Senneca Holdings in Mankato, MN seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a data-driven team supporting Industrial, Aviation and R&D product lines. Drive performance through KPIs, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations and Executive Leadership.

The role emphasizes developing talent, balancing production support with new product development, and delivering measurable engineering outcomes for profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 7+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years engineering leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing multiple priorities.
• Experience with CAD systems such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and hold accountable Engineering staff through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and professional development.
• Direct workload planning, resource allocation, and project execution across engineering programs.
• Establish departmental goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with business objectives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Direct engineering standards, processes, best practices, and KPIs; use data to drive improvements.
• Lead a disciplined new product development process balancing production support with long-term growth.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align engineering priorities with business needs.
• Ensure engineering outputs meet customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Champion Lean and continuous improvement to enhance productivity and lead times.
• Serve as primary engineering representative for major business initiatives.
