Job summary

Trystar, based in Faribault, MN, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Manager to drive efficiency, quality and productivity across manufacturing processes. You will design, implement, and improve methods for electrical and metal fabrication equipment, collaborating with production, engineering and quality assurance.

The role requires a strong technical background, leadership of a manufacturing engineering team, and a data-driven, Lean/Six Sigma mindset to deliver safe, cost-effective and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years in manufacturing engineering roles in metal fabrication and/or electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes for electrical and metal fabrication equipment.
• Provide leadership to the manufacturing engineering team at the Faribault site.
• Collaborate with manufacturing & operations leadership to develop a cohesive manufacturing strategy.
• Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product launches.
• Identify opportunities for automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
• Utilize project management to plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering activities.
