System One is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Manheim, PA to lead manufacturing, test, and maintenance teams across electronics and mechanical assembly. You will provide technical direction, drive DFM/DFT alignment, and manage reliability and BOM/master data within ERP/MRP.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• Master’s degree preferred (Engineering, Operations or Technology).
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience in electronics and mechanical assembly.
• 3+ years in a leadership or technical management role with direct reports.
• Hands-on experience with SMT assembly, electronic testing, calibration, mechanical sub-assembly, and low-to-mid volume manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, BOMs, routings, and production master data.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing engineering, test engineering, and maintenance teams across multiple value streams.
• Provide functional leadership and technical direction to process engineers, aligning with standards and long-term objectives.
• Drive localization, installation, and validation for new HVAC control products and related equipment for volume manufacturing.
• Partner with Product Engineering on DFM/DFX for electronic and mechanical products.
• Own facility, equipment, and reliability strategy including preventive and predictive maintenance and spare parts planning.
• Oversee BOMs, routings, work instructions, and standard work within ERP/MRP.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through lean principles, line balancing, takt, yield, ergonomics, and waste reduction.
• Apply structured problem solving (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) to resolve issues across process, equipment, test, and quality.
• Lead continuous improvement focusing on first-pass yield, defect reduction, test coverage, OEE, and capacity scalability.
• Identify capacity constraints and risks; develop mitigation plans for demand increases.
• Identify, justify, and implement cost savings in materials, processes, automation, and facilities.
• Manage external vendors and contractors for equipment, automation, calibration, and facilities services.
• Develop and manage departmental operating budgets and capex plans for automation and capacity expansion.
• Communicate equipment and facility status, repair progress, spare parts, and production impact to stakeholders.
• Champion safety, enforce policies, and ensure OSHA/compliance adherence.
• Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and ability to prioritize in a fast-growing environment.
• Promote continuous learning and technical skill development within teams.
