Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as an engineer.
• 5 years as a supervisor/manager preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of IATF and ISO quality standards.
• Four-year technical college degree or equivalent; engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of professionals to implement cost reduction projects and launch new products.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and hands-on participation to the technical team.
• Coordinate and direct projects with plans and integration of activities.
• Analyze technology, resources, and market demand to plan feasibility.
• Plan and direct installation, testing, and operation of equipment.
• Recruit, direct, and evaluate staff; develop staff competence.
• Contribute to annual budget and multi-year capital plan.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for engineering work.
• Oversee purchasing decisions, approvals, and expenditure control.
• Oversee production methods and standards for Covercraft production.
