Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team and drive key projects from prototype to full-scale production at our Phoenix facility.

You will guide engineers on process improvements, analyze data to optimize line throughput, and align with Product Management, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet budget and delivery targets. A strong background in Industrial Engineering and Lean practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with extensive experience.
• 5+ years in an Engineering Management role.
• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering required.
• Proficient with 3D CAD/SolidWorks; MS Office proficiency; lean tools like Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Value Stream Mapping.

Responsibilities

• Enhance assembly line flow, increase throughput, and reduce cycle times using data analysis.
• Guide scalable transitions from prototype design phases into full-scale production.
• Propose project budgetary requirements and manage capital expenditures.
• Train new Engineering team members.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Quality, and Manufacturing on project priorities.
• Maintain quality standards, root-cause analysis, and product traceability.
• Investigate designs to maximize manufacturability, profitability, and durability.
• Work with Engineers and Manufacturing to continuously improve processes.
