Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering supporting precision manufacturing or engineered assembly operations.
• Experience supervising technical personnel or leading engineering projects.
• Knowledge of process development, tooling, work instructions, drawings, and structured problem solving.
• Ability to balance immediate production support with longer-term improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate the engineering team’s workload to support production and NPI.
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods, routings, standard work, tooling, and fixtures.
• Lead transition of new or revised products into repeatable production with proper docs and training.
• Provide technical support for production problems and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify and implement improvements in cycle time, labor utilization, and scrap/rework.
• Partner with design engineering to review manufacturability before product release.
• Support equipment selection, capital project justification, installation, and validation.
• Coach engineers and technicians, maintain process documentation, and reinforce safety and quality.
