Job summary

A manufacturing engineering supervisor is sought to lead a team responsible for improving production readiness, process reliability, quality, and throughput at our client’s facility in Buffalo, NY. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising technical personnel and leading projects.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering for precision or engineered assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of process development, tooling, work instructions, and problem solving.
• Ability to balance immediate production support with long-term improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate the manufacturing engineering team's workload.
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods, routings, standard work, assembly processes, tooling, and fixtures.
• Lead the transition of new or revised products into repeatable production processes with appropriate documentation and training.
• Provide technical support for production issues and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify and implement improvements in cycle time, labor utilization, first-pass yield, scrap, and rework.
• Partner with design engineering to review manufacturability and resolve production constraints before product release.
• Support equipment selection, capital project justification, installation, and process validation.
• Coach engineers and technicians, maintain process documentation, and reinforce safe work practices and quality requirements.
