Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Boonton, NJ is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering group for the Utility Automation Business Unit. You will oversee electronics assembly, test, and large electro-mechanical assembly for switchgear products, collaborating with Design Engineering to launch new products and changes.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering is required.
Experience with PFMEA and quality planning for new product launches.
Experience implementing test automation and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Ability to design fixtures and set up BOMs and routing in ERP.

Responsibilities

Lead the Manufacturing Engineering group for electronics production and assembly for switchgear products.
Collaborate with Design Engineering on process design for new products and changes.
Manage ECOs/CARs and update BOMs and work instructions.
Develop solder temperature profiles and guidelines for reflow and selective solder processes.
Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping to reduce cycle time.
