Job summary

Sigil Partners is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in Cincinnati to run end-to-end projects and keep the engineering function moving when the senior manager is unavailable.

You will program, fixtures, tool paths, and release work through gate reviews while supporting machining, quality, and operations on-site. Strong NX CAM and CNC shop-floor background are required, with prior NPI experience and lean leadership a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on CNC/machining experience required.
• Experience taking from print to production with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing engineering projects (NX CAM programming, fixture design, tooling).
• Support large-part machining: multi-axis milling and large horizontal boring mills up to ~68" dia.
• Introduce new products and optimize legacy programs with improved tooling and tool paths.
• Daily prioritization of engineering work, shop support, and urgent troubleshooting.
• Conduct gate reviews with engineering, methods, and quality before floor release.
• Provide on-site coverage for the Senior Manager when needed.
• Collaborate with sister sites to share resources and optimize schedules.
