Job summary
Lockheed Martin Corporation in Marietta, GA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement processes, layouts, and automation strategies for assemblies and equipment installation. You will leverage 3D model data and IoT-enabled tools to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
Candidates should have a STEM degree, experience in PLM/MES, SAP/ERP, and cross-functional collaboration, with a preferred active Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- Technical leadership experience in Manufacturing/Production Engineering.
- Experience with PLM/MES software.
- Active Secret Clearance desired.
- Experience with model-based engineering environments.
- Experience with SAP/ERP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and production layouts for assemblies and equipment installation.
- Drive adoption of automation, robotics, and digital tools to improve efficiency and quality.
- Analyze 3D model data to optimize processes and create digital work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operations and product quality.
- Evaluate equipment performance and initiate corrective actions to maintain operational excellence.
