Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Troy, MI, is seeking a manufacturing lead to develop and implement processes and layouts for assemblies and equipment installation. You will drive automation adoption, analyze 3D model data, and optimize procedures to achieve operational excellence.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field with extensive manufacturing experience and U.S. citizenship, plus the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or relevant discipline and 5 years of manufacturing experience or 3 years with a master’s degree.
• Experience leading a team in manufacturing assembly, integration, and/or test operations within a production environment.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and retain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance; Lockheed Martin to assist with Interim Secret clearance.
• Must pass ATF background investigation to obtain employee possessor approval per ATF regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies and equipment installation.
• Drives adoption of new technologies and processes to improve efficiency, cost and quality.
• Creates and analyzes 3D model data to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructions.
• Leverages factory data to develop SPC approaches and reporting for continuous improvement.
