Job summary

Teledyne FLIR is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for our Miamisburg, OH site. This on-site role targets Spring 2027 students pursuing an engineering degree and involves hands-on support across design, calculations, and process studies.

You'll work under supervision to help with safety, cost, schedule, and quality goals, assist in CAD-based drawings, and gain exposure to lean and Kaizen practices while developing practical engineering skills applicable to real-world manufacturing

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Sophomore or above (30 credits) minimum.
• GPA 3.0+ required.
• On-site work in Miamisburg, OH.
• Prior co-op experience is a plus.
• CAD software familiarity (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detail design calculations, spreadsheets, reports, drawings and sketches for projects.
• Support development of conceptual process engineering designs and studies.
• Help engineers and technicians meet safety, cost, schedule, and quality goals.
• Perform routine engineering tasks under direct supervision.
