Job summary

PACCAR is offering a Spring 2027 Manufacturing Engineering/Hot Test Intern role in Columbus, MS. This internship provides hands-on exposure to continuous improvement, line balance optimization, and ergonomic projects within a global industrial leader.

The candidate must be enrolled in an engineering program and have completed their sophomore year, with strong technical and communication skills. A 40-hour work week and competitive compensation are provided.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be currently enrolled in an Engineering program and have completed their sophomore year.
• Excellent technical, verbal, written and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to work in a self-directed environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in continuous improvement efforts focusing on line balance optimization.
• Support ergonomic improvement projects as they arise.
• Contribute to engineering tasks under supervision and mentorship.
